Let's Reclaim Center Together

You care deeply about the world and so much has happened in the world, in our communities, and in each of our own lives. There's been a lot of change, and with that a lot of loss and uncertainty. Some of it may seem obvious, other parts more subtle but you feel it. It can be disorienting, uprooting, and exhausting. Have you had a chance to let it all digest? Or is it taking up space in your mind and heart? Is it creating tension in your body and soul? In Reclaiming Center, we'll keep it simple and get you back home to your body where you'll tap into your innate wisdom, strength, and resilience. We'll nurture reconnection of our minds and bodies and tend to the senses, the nervous system, and the soul. We'll move breath, body, and energy. Midwinter is the perfect time for this intentional slower embodied journey. This time invites us to root down, to feel grounded, nurtured, and allow in more ease, joy, and grace in times of loss, disruption, and transition. Midwinter lands between winter solstice and spring equinox and holds a gentle container for us to acknowledge anything that feels like a heavy undigested residue. This 4- week journey invites you to complete the winter cycle with rest, reflection, and restoration so you feel prepared for spring season of renewal, rebirth, and creativity. And you'll get to do it in a wise community of women who are ready to rest, root and rise together.

  • Explore an understanding of your nervous system that makes sense and experiment with simple practices to nurture and restore.

  • Feel anchored in your body and aware of how she communicates, protects, and heals.

  • Allow time and space to let grief, loss, frustration, and all that has happened and is being stored in your body to be felt and witnessed through breath, fluid movement, presence, and the power of community.

  • Learn how to integrate simple, yet dynamic and radical, self-care rituals that help you feel more rested, rooted, and in rhythm--even when life feels so out of sync. Do it ways that are life-giving and work for you. And do it from a place of knowing you're already enough.

  • Experience the power of women gathering to prioritize and normalize rest and restoration as part of being woman and being human. This changes how we care for our families, communities, and create the change we want in the world.

  • Uncover the stories that are keeping you from presence, power, and passion. Receive and metabolize ("digest") them to create more space, freedom, and clarity for yourself.

This Restorative Course may be for you if...

  • You're feeling a little tired and wired. You feel like you need rest, but you can't seem to get a good night's sleep.

  • You're navigating life transitions and disruptions and you're not even sure anymore which are tied into the last two years or not. It feels like so much.

  • You're a mother or caregiver in some way and you tend to be the grounding center of the home or community but you're feeling worn out and finding yourself feeling disconnected, distracted, and reactive.

  • You experience frequent anxiety or overwhelm (often great at hiding it) and you may have also been raised in a home where anxiety, perfectionism, or lack of self-worth was an underlying current.

  • You're caring for someone with a chronic condition, long-term illness, or you're feeling the residue of a past diagnosis, surgery, or stressful event you or a member of your family experienced.

  • You know it's time to slow down, rest, and recover but feel like it's nearly impossible with all that's going on in your life and all you're doing.

  • You're ready to create a little time and space for four weeks to listen to your body and her wisdom and come home to yourself to cultivate resilience. (Imperfectly with grace and compassion)

  • Sometimes you feel stuck in the same patterns, conversations, routines. Really really stuck. You've read, made lists, tried things, but still...

  • You hear these words, these labels, and they resonate... compassion fatigue, ambiguous loss, undigested grief, unresolved trauma, family patterns, generational/ancestral patterns.

  • You hear these words and you wonder what else is possible for you...vibrant energy, centered, grounded, inherent wholeness, healing, lies of inadequacy, peace of mind, liberated soul, personal, collective, and planetary healing.

I'm Karla

I'm so glad you're here.

I see you. I believe in you. I believe in me. I also get transitions as I'm currently navigating a few of my own. I parent three bright human beings who are trying to find their way back into the world after a lot disruption. My parents are aging and we are navigating my mother's life with Alzheimer's. My partner was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer 4 years ago. And well, I'm evolving how to befriend my own grief around ambiguous loss, set healthy boundaries, really love and accept myself (through radical self-care and compassion), and truly LIVE and feel ALIVE through each season, cycle, day, moment, emotion, and breath. I'm so grateful for teachers, trainings, and life itself that have equipped me with resources to access my own resilience. I'm honored I get to facilitate spaces that help other women access their own wisdom and resilience. If this course resonates, I would love to welcome you inside. If financial hardship is real for your right now, please reach out. No more hiding. Rest with us. Let's talk. Karla@DiscoverYourCenter.com
